Mission
Our mission is to deliver to the boys and
their families in the Suwanee, Georgia area the Cub
Scout Program developed by the Boy Scouts of America. We will do our
best to deliver the highest quality program possible.
Vision
We will offer a high quality program to all
boys in grades one through five. Our sons will advance in rank each
year, beginning with Tiger Cubs and continuing through the Arrow of
Light in fifth grade. We will encourage our boys to continue the
fun, adventure and development of Scouting by graduating into a Boy
Scout Troop. We hope each of our Scouts will continue to advance in
the Scouting program, not because of the badge of rank they will
earn but because of what they will learn about themselves, their
families, others, God and their country.
Values
The primary values we seek to instill are
contained in the Tiger Cub Promise / Cub Scout Promise, the Tiger
Cub Motto / Cub Scout Motto and the Law of the Pack.
As a worldwide brotherhood, scouting is a
unique organization. It is based on the principles of loving and
serving God, the dignity of all human beings, and the rights of
individuals. Scouting does not emphasize winning as an end result,
but rather encourages each boy to do and achieve his best. Cub
Scouts and Boy Scouts are organizations that are dedicated to
bringing out the best in people. No member of the scouts can grow
into being the best kind of citizen without recognizing an
obligation to God. Thus, a Cub Scout learns his duty to God,
country, others and self.
