Prerequisites

 

All boys, regardless of age, earn the Bobcat badge first - by learning the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, sign, handshake, motto, salute, and the meaning of "Webelos".

 

Who May Participate?

 

Bear - for third-grade boys (or those who are 9 years old).

Bear Cubs work on 12 of 24 achievements to earn the Bear badge. After earning their Bear badge, Bear Cubs work on projects in 36 elective areas until they complete the third grade (or turn ten). For every 10 elective projects Bear Cubs complete, they earn an Arrow Point.
