Prerequisites

All boys, regardless of age, earn the Bobcat badge
first - by learning the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, sign,
handshake, motto, salute, and the meaning of "Webelos".
Who May Participate?

Webelos is for fourth- and fifth-grade boys (or
those who are 10 years old).
Webelos Scouts work on requirements for the
Webelos badge, 20 activity badges, and the Arrow of Light award (the
highest award in Cub Scouting) in preparation for Boy Scouting.
After
a boy earns the Arrow of Light award or reaches 11 years of age or
completes the fifth grade, he is eligible to graduate from Cub Scouting
to Boy Scouting.
